Ayurvedic Body Therapies
Where Touch Becomes Therapy and Presence Becomes Medicine
Each therapy at Sevānanda Āyurveda is performed with warm, herbalized oils customized for your constitution and crafted in-house with care and reverence. These sacred rituals calm the nervous system, enhance circulation, and restore Prāṇa — your life force.
Rooted in the classical wisdom of Āyurveda, our therapies nurture the body while quieting the mind and balancing energy.
Offerings Include:
Abhyanga + Svedhana — The foundational two-part ritual of Āyurveda. Warm oil therapy followed by herbal steam to release toxins, nourish tissues, and bring lightness to the body.
Shirodhara — A meditative therapy in which a continuous stream of warm oil flows across the forehead, quieting the mind, easing stress, and supporting restful sleep.
Bliss Therapy (Abhyanga → Shirodhara → Svedhana) — Our signature three-part sequence for profound rejuvenation, emotional release, and inner stillness.
Pinda Sweda (Bolus Therapy) — Warm herbal poultices filled with milk, rice, and medicinal herbs are rhythmically applied across the body to ease stiffness, nourish tissues, and support muscular tone and rejuvenation..
Marma Therapy — Gentle stimulation of vital energy points (marmas) to balance Prāṇa, clear energetic blockages, and support emotional and physical harmony.
Basti Therapies — Localized warm oil pools over the heart, navel, or eyes for deep nourishment and release.
Nasya — Nasal oleation with herbal oil or ghee to cleanse, lubricate, and revitalize the sinuses and mind.
Panchakarma Programs (03-, 05-, 07-Day, 21-Day Resets) — Panchakarma-inspired immersions combining Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Svedhana, Pinda Sweda, Basti, and Nasya with take-home Ayurvedic meals and herbs for deep detoxification and renewal.
Each therapy is performed in stillness, with mantra and intention transforming touch into devotion and restoration into remembrance.
